Feeling like you want to do something "off the beaten path” near el tunco area? Explore the amazing Tamanique Waterfalls just 30 minutes away from El Tunco beach. With an altitude of 700 ish meters above the sea level, Tamanique town offers incredible views, colorful walls, and crazy waterfalls.

This tour will take you to some of the most popular beach areas in El Salvador, La Libertad. this town is part of the project SURF CITY. El Salvador is well known for its waves which are good for practicing surfing year around. This tour will take you to El Tunco village, where you can walk and experience SURF life, take note that during high tide there is no sand beach ( see photos ), and might not be suitable for swim. . First, you will walk to tamanique and have a walk to the falls, around 6 miles in total, you have to wlak down stairs, from the mountain to the canon, the walk does require some effort and appropriate shoes. Tamanique falls are 3 falls with different pools and cascades, you can also swim in the freshwater-cold , and then continue to El Tunco where you will have free time until 2pm. (returning time)
