Exploring Suchitoto
First, we will visit the Los Tercios waterfall with a beautiful view of Lake Suchitlan, where you will learn a bit about the history of how the lake was created in 1973. Then we'll head to the indigo workshop at Pájaro Flor, a place where you'll hear about the history of indigo in Suchitoto. You can take a dyeing class for an extra cost; The tour only includes a demonstration. Next, we'll visit the Center for Arts for Peace, a place where music courses are taught to young people to prevent violence. The place also has a museum and many beautiful artworks. Then we'll move on to San Martín Park, a site that has been renovated in recent years with a view of Lake Suchitlan. After that, we'll visit Santa Lucía Church and the central park. Lunch is optional at any of the restaurants in Suchitoto. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Alejandro Coto Museum, a very nice place full of history and art. The boat tour is optional. We'll finish the tour and return to San Salvador.
