Start with a visit to San Andres Archeological site, this Maya city was a large settlement and it is believed to be abandoned due to the explosion of a nearby volcano, habitated later by Pipil Indians, and part of a Spanish farm during the colonial era. Then continue to Copan town , arriving at mid-afternoon.
On the second day your guide will take you to Copan Ruins with admission and a professional guide you will visit the highlights of this town that ruled the valley centuries ago, and you will be surprised by the high skill of the artist that once lived here. After that return to San Salvador or Santa Ana.
