Full-Day Chief Roi Mata Domain, Artok Island and Rainforest Tour of Vanuatu
The Lelepa Region communities have only recently developed this fascinating guided, full-day tour to Artok or Hat Island, the revered mass burial site of Chief Roi Mata and the fifty or more individuals who accompanied him to the afterlife. Immediately after Roi Mata’s burial, around 400 years ago, a prohibition was imposed on the island preventing people from residing there. The maintenance of this prohibition for over four centuries has led to the development of a unique biodiversity on the island, where a number of rare and endemic plant and animal species have found refuge. Visitors will be treated to an exclusive day-long adventure that will provide people with an appreciation of the World Heritage values of this spectacular island and its rich cultural and environmental history. Taste of the Tropics Tour in Efate Vanuatu
Experience Efate’s sights, swimming, wildlife/ sea life and tastes with this full-day tour (generally 8am-3pm). Visit the Aelan Chocolate Factory where you will be taken on a tour to see the production of Vanuatu’s own chocolate and even enjoy a taste of Vanuatu’s creations! After a short drive, you will arrive at Blue Lagoon for a swim in the clear blue lagoon which is a mix of fresh and salt water. Even try the rope swings, if you dare! Off to lunch, you go to the Turtle Sanctuary where you can see turtles and other wildlife and sea life. Last but not least, finish off by grabbing your duty free which is said to be some of the cheapest.

Blue Lagoon Express Bus
Just half an hour out of Port Vila, the gorgeous Blue Lagoon is one of the most popular spots for visitors to head. Beyond being incredibly Instagrammable, the Blue Lagoon will be hours of fun for the young and young at heart. The Blue Lagoon is in a stunning setting. Fringed by trees and bushes, it's secluded from the bustle of Port Vila and Efate's main road, and makes for a great backdrop for your inevitable Instagram shot. There are nice grassy areas for picnics, as well as toilets and change rooms (so you can get into your bathers before launching off the rope swing!) Note that there aren't lockers, though it is a safe environment. You could easily spend hours at the Blue Lagoon, whether you're after doing a little or a lot! Jump into the lapis-hued waters off the wooden platforms, swing in off the rope swings, or jump in off the trees.
