The Frida Kahlo Museum is located in one of the oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods in Mexico City, the center of Coyoacán. The Blue House is the Intimate Universe of Frida Kahlo. In this beautiful residence, the artist lived most of her life; initially with his family and years later, with Diego Rivera. Likewise, interesting Mexican and foreign visitors stayed in this place, attracted by the captivating couple of artists. Frida wanted to leave her house as a museum, to learn and enjoy her beloved Mexico. For this reason, after his death, Diego organized the Frida Kahlo Museum here. The museography was in charge of the museographer, professor and great poet from Tabasco Carlos Pellicer, a very close friend of the couple. Full-Day Teotihuacan & Basilica Guadalupe Tour
Your experience begins with a walk through the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, you will visit the church of Santiago de Tlatelolco, contemplate the ruins of a pre-Hispanic city and visit the monument in honor of the student movement of 1968. You will continue your experience at the Guadalupe Basilica complex. Climb the sacred hill of Tepeyac to enjoy a beautiful view of Mexico City. During the visit to the religious complex, you will also visit the Chapel of the Indians, the Chapel of the Pocito, and of course the Modern Basilica. To finish your experience, you will go to the State of Mexico and visit the archaeological complex of Teotihuacan, you will explore the archaeological zone and learn about the important history of this magnificent pre-Hispanic city. This activity also includes a visit to a handicraft center, you will have the opportunity to taste liquors of the region (cactus and prickly pear) and the traditional drink known as pulque.
