The tour is named The Historical Compass (Brújula histórica) after the configuration of Oaxaca's city center, full of churches located on the cardinal points, these are decisive places for the urban layout strictly connected to the city religious, political and mystical life over the centuries. We will be visiting buildings, streets and neighbourhoods where celebrations, wars, encounters and fascinating mysterious events have taken place. Walking through places embedded with legends and anecdotes belonging to tradition and popular culture of the city history. Digging into the city’s secrets we will focus also on relevant Oaxacan’s female characters and their actions as well as less known and less told stories from prehispanic and colonial periods. By the end of the tour you will have mapped the city in a historical way, eaten an ice cream and learned some new ways to taste mezcal.

Oaxacan Mezcal Tour
Our first visit is in Matatlan, the world capital of Mezcal. Here we will enjoy a ride in a mobile barrel with music, mezcal and a good atmosphere, as we explore the streets of this magical town. We will make a stop at an authentic pulqueria so that you can try this ancestral drink. We will make a stop at an agave field, where you can take memorable pictures. Our next visit is a special place where we will get to know the mysterious mezcals and their unique variations. Here, you will taste mezcal that will transport you to the deepest corners of Oaxaca. Then we will visit a palenque of mezcal and you will be delighted with Oaxacan food, you will also learn about the process of making Mezcal, you will enjoy a mezcal cocktail, a tasting of 5 different mezcals and the delicious mezcal creams. This exciting tour will finish around 4:30 pm, in your hotel lobby or Airbnb, with invaluable memories and a deep appreciation for this iconic drink.
Sunday Tour to Tlacolula market
You will visit the impressive Church of Tlacochahuaya, an architectural treasure dating back to the 16th century. Then, we head to the colorful traditional market of Tlacolula, where flavors and colors merge into a symphony of culture. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire vibrant colors, enticing aromas and the bustle of locals exchanging traditional products. Here you can explore, taste and learn about the culinary traditions of Oaxaca. The Church of Tlacolula is our next destination, home to the enigmatic Chapel of Mirrors. This place will envelop you with its history and its unique architecture. Finally, we venture to the archaeological site of Yagul, where the ancient ruins tell us stories of past civilizations. The impressive landscapes and the energy of this place will remind you of the greatness of Oaxaca's history. After an exciting half day of exploring, we'll return to your hotel around 2pm.

Art walk & Cacao delight
During our ART & CACAO TOUR you will discover the secret corners and murals of Oaxaca in Jalatalco and Centro areas. Meeting and mingling with the artists in their studios and galleries you are embedded into the magical Oaxaca art scene. As you soak up the back stories behind the murals you gain a deeper insight and understanding. Inspired by their stories there is then the chance to create your own print in a studio and bring your artwork home with you. Finally during a cacao tasting in centro we sample the decadent delights of Oaxaca's chocolate beverages. 6-Hour Bike Tour from Oaxaca to the Tule Tree
Let's get to know Oaxaca, culture, history, art and gastronomy. Designed for people who enjoy taking recreational bike rides and want to see special places. We carry out our experience with a professional team, we will leave from the city of Oaxaca by bicycle, we will visit several places in 2 towns in Oaxaca. The first is 10 km from the city and is the warm town of Santa María El Tule where we will visit the gastronomy market and we will be able to have a traditional breakfast (option with Food), then we will visit the majestic ancient tree. The second place 6 km from Tule is Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, we go to the town dam and if we have time we can visit the house - workshop of a leather or skin artisan and a traditional bread workshop. Note: The departure and return is by bicycle and from the office or designated space in the city center (35 round km on average). It is necessary to have experience using a bicycle.
