Guided day tour - Premium Nærøyfjord Cruise and Flåm Railway
Explore the best of Norway's natural beauty on this guided tour of the Naeröyfjord and Flam Railway. Meet your guide at Strandkaien Terminal and board the bus on a transfer to Gudvangen. From Gudvangen enjoy a 2-hour scenic fjord cruise to Flam. See the Naeröyfjord, which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Get your camera ready to take breathtaking photos of the steep mountainsides, hanging valleys and waterfalls along the way. Upon arrival in Flam, a charming village surrounded by precipitous mountainsides and rumbling waterfalls, take a stroll through the picturesque town center or visit the Flam Railway Museum. Continue the tour and board the Flåm Railway, one of the world's steepest railway tracks on regular tracks. Enjoy the panoramic view of Norway's most magnificent mountains and pass by the famous Kjosfossen waterfall on the 20-kilometer-long train journey. At Myrdal change to the Bergen Railway to Voss, and then a bus back to Bergen where the tour started.
Sightseeing Tour in Trollstigen - Land of Trolls
Experience the Land of Trolls with our 6 hour sightseeing tour to Trollstigen. The bus will take you from Ålesund, through charming norwegian villages to the Land of Trolls. First stop will be at Kokarsteinen placed just above the fiord. We will pass by Sjoholt village known for the furniture and wood industry and Valldal – famous for tasty strawberries. Next stop will be at Gubrandsjuvet. It’s a 5 meters narrow and 20 – 25 meters high ravine where can take a bridge and walk over it. After that, the bus will drive you to the Trollstigen so you can enjoy the majestic view of natural landscape and fantastic mountain road with eleven hairpin turns. While driving down the road, we will take an extra photo stop at Stigefossen – the powerful waterfall with a total height of 240 meters. Last stop will be at Trollvegen (Troll Wall) which is Europe’s tallest vertical rock face. From here the bus will drive you through Åndalsnes back to Ålesund.
Aurora Hunt Tour with Citizen Science from Tromso - Professional Photos Included
Come with us for your Aurora hunt for an amazing and ethical experience underneath the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this activity, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts & use local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot we will dress in warm thermal suits and boots, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a homemade meal. During your Aurora Hunt activity you'll become a citizen scientist and collect data for our Tundra Restoration Project. You'll be shown how to use your camera, photograph the Aurora, and our guides will take photos of you, which are provided for free in web-sized resolution after the tour. Relax by the fire with hot chocolate before being returned back to Tromsø island to your hotel. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our experienced team of Aurora Hunters will do their best, every night of the season.
Mostraumen Fjord Cruise
Join us on this 4-hour fjord cruise to the scenic Osterfjord and Mostraumen Channel. Experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of traveling through the majestic Norwegian fjords on a scenic boat tour departing from Bergen. On board the high speed catamaran you will experience the magnificent landscape in Bergen's nearby fjords and the Nordhordland region. When sailing out from Bergen's inner harbor you will have a great view to some of the oldest and most relevant historical sites in the city, including the medieval fortress Bergenhus, St Mary's Church and the colorful Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf, which is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. During the trip to the Langfoss waterfall we will know the history and local culture of the area through professional guides. A Fjord cruise through Åkrafjorden is possible under petition. This excursion is intended for all those cruise passengers who arrive to Haugesund. IMPORTANT This tour can be varied, modified or reduced due to force majeure, specific atmospheric phenomena, late arrival of the ship or arrival with massive delay by passengers. It will always be done for the good progress of the excursion and under the criteria of the assigned guide and our approval. In any case, our main priority will always be to arrive on time to the ship.
Olden Shore Excursion: the Amazing Briksdal Glacier
Experience unspoiled beauty during this half-day excursion to the Briksdal Glacier. You will depart from Olden by bus and drive through the valley, passing the 'little red church,' the Olden Lake, colorful farms and numerous waterfalls. Once you arrive at the Briksdal Inn, a beautiful track surrounded by waterfalls and mountains will lead you to the viewpoint at the glacier lake, from where you will be able to enjoy this amazing natural treasure.
