Note: After being closed almost 3 years in the end of 2019, now Borobudur temple is opened for climbing up to the top but with very limited quota, 150 persons per hour. Only a lucky person who gets the special ticket for climbing up. I recommend you to book the tour as earlier as possible. If you are not lucky to get Temple Structure ticket, you are still possible to visit Borobudur temple by buying Ground Temple ticket on the spot. Especially on Monday, the main temple of Borobudur and Prambanan is closed. People are only allowed to see the main temple from the yard.
