We start at the south end of the aqueduct and soon enough you are paddling across this famous feat of engineering which stands at an impressive 126ft above the Dee River. Although this style of canoeing is deemed a calm and peaceful session the look over the edge is a breathtaking sight, but with our staff on hand, there is nothing to worry about, especially with a safe footpath on the opposing side. After this it is then a breeze down the canal, learning and developing skills across the way with some games and challenges thrown in. The only time restriction we will insist on adhering to is leaving Caerleon around 5:15pm to ensure the tour finishes around the planned time. We will provide you with an itinerary before the tour. The timings on this itinerary are purely there to be used as a guide for the day. Please Note: Chepstow Castle, Raglan Castle Tintern Abbey & Caerleon Roman Baths all have a cost for entry. However these are not included in the price of the tour. We have done this so you do not feel obligated to enter any of them if you do not wish too (although we do recommend it). On the day, you can enter all, or none of them as you see fit. If you want to enter any of them, simply pay on the door. All sites are run and operated by CADW and you may wish to consider purchasing a 3 Day Pass at Chepstow Castle, which will then give you free entry to all sites
