Green Gardens of Portland Tour

In this tour of Portland’s verdant parks, nature's artistry and human innovation create a symphony of color and life. First, we’ll visit the grounds of Pittock Mansion, originally designed and created by C.C. Colburn, and featuring dogwoods, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, lilacs, magnolias, and roses. While there, we’ll take in the view of the city of Portland below. Then we’ll visit the picturesque International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park, where thousands of roses bloom Summer through Fall, a testament to Portland's nickname, "The City of Roses." Next, we’ll visit the serene Japanese Garden nearby, touted “the most authentic Japanese Garden outside of Japan.” There you'll explore 12 acres of eight distinct garden types and a tea house. Finally, we’ll visit an innovative urban park and sustainable green spaces that showcase Portland's commitment to ecological preservation and green living. All admissions are included.
