Top Experiences in Poring Hot Spring & Nature Reserve (Poring Hot Springs)

Then soak your sore muscles at Poring Hot Springs, which offers an invigorating dip into outdoor hot sulfur springs. Stroll the Canopy Walkway for a spectacular view of the Borneo rainforest. The drive takes about 1.5 hours through scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. On the way, stop by at the Nabalu Fruit Market. Arrive at Kinabalu Park HQ, jungle walk with the park naturalist and guide. Visit the Mountain Garden or Plant Research Centre. See the smallest orchid in Borneo and experience the different vegetation. Visit the exhibition centre and watch interesting slide shows the animals and unique plants species found only at Mount Kinabalu.

Afternoon, lunch at local restaurant. Depart to Poring Hot Spring with another 45 minutes drive through the countryside passing through Kundasang's vegetable growing town. Upon arrival, take a 20 minutes hike to reach the Canopy Walkway. Experience the height of 200 feet above ground from top of the tree itself.

Pick up from the city hotel and proceed for about 3 hours drive to Poring Hot Springs through scenic mountainous countryside. Upon arrival, a must visit is the Treetop Canopy Walkway which 20 minutes hike is needed.
