Our guides will introduce you to the history of Matsue Castle, of course, but also tell you about other details of the city as you visit local shops, learn about the local cuisine, and enjoy unique local scenery. If you like history and culture, please select the Basic Course. You will visit Matsue Castle and the surrounding castle town, which will give you glimpses of how Japan looked 400 years ago. You will also visit local shops and enjoy sightseeing in Matsue and cycling along Lake Shinji. At the end of your tour, you'll get a chance to sample the tea and tea sweets food culture of Matsue as well. If you want to sample traditional Japanese scenery, please select the Nature Course. You will cycle from Matsue Castle to a rice paddy area, where you can speed down the paths between the fields. The scenery is much like that of large wheat field, and this is only something you can experience on a bicycle. Treat yourself to some goat milk gelato and enjoy your cycling adventure in Matsue's natural surroundings. We will use E-Bikes on this course, so feel free to sign up even if you're not an experienced cyclist. Morning Meditation and Tofu Making Experience in the Temple
Refresh yourself in the morning with zazen and medicinal herbs! This program offers a Zen meditation experience at a local temple, followed by breakfast inside the temple. For breakfast, you will enjoy tofu made by heating soy milk from Masago Tofu, which uses locally harvested soybeans, and adding bittern to make your own tofu, along with seasonal condiments carefully selected by a food professional. This tofu-centered breakfast, which is popular even overseas for being healthy, is a pleasant start to the day. An English-speaking interpreter guide will be provided, so you can participate with peace of mind.

Matsue Castle, a national treasure, and a townscape of former samurai residences are located near our rental shop, Horikawa Komachi, so you can feel just like a ninja! Anyone can enjoy our ninja experience, children, adults, men, and women. You can also rent small articles like katana. *We can accommodate heights from 120cm to 170cm.
