Your visit starts at Nova Moca plantation, where you will learn the difference between Arabica and Robusta beans cultivated by the renowned Claudio Corallo. There you will discover the power to "roasting" while enjoying the various "locuras" made by Claudio Corallo, coffee beans wrapped with chocolate.. Then you will visit the Museum of Coffee at Monte Cafe plantation and meet with the team of Efraim, a young Santomean company, which aims at exporting 100% organic coffee. Depending on the schedule, you may have lunch or start directly the visit of Efraim´workshop . The journey ends in São Tomé Capital, at the Pereira Duarte shop for a tasting of home-roasted coffee. If we are lucky (and if he is there), the owner of the place will show us and tell us the story of one of the oldest roasting machines on the island !) Partida para "Natureza" em direcção ao centro da Ilha, onde se deu em primeiro lugar a plantação de café, acima da pequena vila da Trindade ( 600 metros de altitude). Visita à praça histórica de Batepá onde iniciou o massacre de 1953. Visita à Roça Monte Café, a única plantação da variedade de café arábica na Ilha, onde terá a oportunidade de ver todas as etapas de transformação deste grão no museu de café. Visita à Jardim Botánico, cascata São Nocolau. Um almoço típico (sem bebidas) será servido na Roça Saudade(Roça onde nasceu o Almada Negreiro). Regresso ao hotel.
