Located just 20 mins drive north of Newcastle in the beautiful Port Stephens region, Fighter World is a totally ‘hands-on’ experience. Upon entering you can walk-around, touch and view some of Australia’s most iconic aircraft plus enjoy the added benefit of sitting in the cockpits of a real Mirage jet fighter and a Macchi jet trainer. There are 18 historic aircraft and replicas on display including the giant F-111C. We never combine groups, so no strangers. Your tour guide, Clive, is a wine lover with a deep love of the Hunter Valley. He has been coming to the Hunter Valley since the mid-eighties to visit cellar doors and attend wine functions. In 2009 he purchased a property in the valley (Lovedale), and moved there permanently in 2019. Clive loves conversation and is always happy to answer any questions you may have.
