Shore Excursion: Scenic Rafting from Napier

Small Group Half-Day Napier Wine Experience Tour
Join our small Wine Tour group to explore a huge variety of Hawkes Bay Wines lasting all afternoon. Visit 4 very different Wineries. 2 - Boutique Wineries set in the world famous Gimblett Gravels. Learn about the region, how, why, and what Wines are produced in what is regarded as the “Premium Wine Region in New Zealand”. Visit a 3rd boutique Winery set in sheep growing country. Walk around the Vineyards learning the Winemaking process from the Vine to the Bottle, Visit New Zealand’s only Vegetarian (Vegan) certified Winery. This is a “must do” experience. You will also visit the oldest Winery in New Zealand. Here you will learn about their history dating back to the 1830’s in Lyon, France. You will finish the tour with a small souvenir, and a souvenir Wine glass. All tastings, admissions and any drinks advertised are included in the tour price. Tour is door to door within Napier on the day.
Half Day Sights and Tastes Tour in Napier
We will take you on a tour with fun and laughter whilst showing you a large area of our region. we cover over 100 km in our minivan to show you the highlights of the region. This tour can be done in 3 hours but also can take a little longer depending on the time the traveler has. We provide a driver guide and they give a comprehensive dialogue along the way. This tour can be made into a private tour with a little extra fee added. With the sightseeing done first and tasting experiences after, this tour provides ampul opportunities for photos and purchasing of local products during our stops.

After starting with a look at the world-famous Art Deco City we make our way out of town to one of Napier's premier wineries where you get the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting experience; depending on availability we usually visit either Church Road Winery or Mission Estate Winery. Next we head out through stunning countryside, passing vineyards, orchards, farmland and crossing rivers on our way to the picturesque village of Havelock North. Here we visit beautiful Birdwoods with it's sculpture garden, olde worlde sweet shop and real fruit ice cream before ascending Te Mata Peak for stunning views of the region prior to returning to Napier.
