I pici sono il piatto di pasta più famoso della Provincia di Siena. Si tratta di un tipo di pasta fatta a mano, più spessa dei normali spaghetti, che viene realizzata arrotolando l’impasto e sfregandolo con entrambe le mani; questo gesto viene appunto chiamato “appiciare”. Imparerete, divertendovi, a realizzare non solo i pici, ma anche tagliatelle e gustosi sughi per il condimento, come il ragù di carne, il sugo all’aglione o cacio e pepe. Tuscan cooking class at the farm: together with the local housewives, you will undertake a typical local cooking course, cooking dishes that are simple and tasty at the same time, typical of the sharecropping period. Our Farmhouse lies on a fascinating position on the Tuscan hills. It is surrounded by a vast stretch of olive groves and vineyards of our famous wines: Nobile and Rosso di Montepulciano. We are located between Valdichiana and Val d'Orcia, in a unique and unspoiled area. We’ll make you learn about our landscape, on an easy walk through the countryside, woods and olive groves surrounding the farmhouse. Our olive trees are age-old, sumptuous and proud, with robust roots that are witnesses to the passage of centuries. They are trees that we have been growing one by one with love and passion. Through the colors, scents and sounds of the untouched nature, we will reach the olive groves area where you’ll enjoy an intimate time for tasting, which will take you to savor a 4-course menu matched with our wines. You will be trained to exercise your sense of smell and taste, in order to better perceive the flavors and characteristics of our products.

It will be an all-natural experience, walking on horseback you will see breathtaking Tuscan views, returning to the farm you will take a short walk among the olive trees, the vineyard, the vegetable garden and above all my friendly Cinta Senese pigs led by the great Ciro. The tour includes a delicious tasting lunch with farm and local products. The experience combines adventure, delicious food and the magic of nature!
Montepulciano: Wine Tour and tasting
In the heart of a 1300s village, you will discover the history and a family where the Nobile di Montepulciano will be the protagonist. Enjoy the tour that will take you from the winery to the vineyards. In this experience you will be guided on a walk among the rows of 50 year old Prugnolo Gentile and Sangiovese and among the oak barrels of the aging cellar dating back to 1300, where the native Rosso di Montepulciano "Dogana", the Nobile di Montepulciano "Maestro", the elegant Nobile Riserva and the Terrarossa are still produced. At the end of the visit you will have the opportunity to taste 6 labels in a unique place: the panoramic terrace overlooking the beautiful vineyards of the estate and a 360 degree view of Montepulciano.
Enjoy a Wine Tasting after a cycling excursion in the magic of Tuscany
All the seasons are suitable to bike ride; nature amazes with its colors and perfumes; you can take country roads and visit nearby villages such full of charm and history. All the proposed routes wind along paths, white roads, or in any case itineraries that are not very popular even in summer; the paths are never technically too difficult, there is always time to take a picture or take a breath of fresh air! The itineraries are also suitable for e-bike; with pedal-assisted bikes everyone will be able to reach the top of a hill and enjoy the view without having a heart pounding. The pedaling exertion will be rewarded by a delicious food and wine tasting in our winery.
