Full Day Tour of Otranto City and its Amazing Seacoast from Lecce
Our trip will take us in the amazing Otranto seacoast surrounded by lovely Mediterranean scrublands. I'll drive you to Otranto, one of the most beautiful coastal villages in Salento, where you can have an independent tour enjoying the ancient city. After that we transfer to the Bauxite Lake and to Palascia Lighthouse with their breathtaking views. In Torre Sant'Andrea and Torre dell'Orso you could find out the clearest water you've ever seen in Puglia. For last you'll visit one of the 10 most beautiful natural pools in the world. Your visit time will be very flexible and you can also get a swim in your chosen place, so carry your swim gear.

The tour begins with a visit to the underground Jewish Museum where you will discover the fascinating Jewish and medieval history of the city. Here you will visit an underground room with the tanks that were used for the purification of the body. You will continue the tour by visiting the Church of Santa Croce, a jewel of Lecce Baroque. You will explore the nearby Piazza Sant'Oronzo, the former market square with the Old Town Hall, the Roman Column and the remains of a Roman amphitheater. Walking along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, you will discover splendid Baroque palaces and the Church of Sant'Irene. Finally, you will visit Piazza Duomo, one of the most renowned squares in the region which houses the archbishop's residence, the seminary, the bell tower and the cathedral.
Gallipoli Inland and Surroundings Full-Day Bike Tour
Gallipoli and its inland still retain traces of the wealth that the lamp oil trade generated for centuries. First stop is at Alezio for a tasting in a cheese farm, then we go on to Tuglie for the amazing Radio Museum (all the items, including telegraphs, are still in working order!) or for the Museum of Rural Life. Heading back toward the coast, in the Porto Selvaggio Natural Reserve we have a picnic lunch (not included) in the shade of the pine forest and, for those who feel like it, a refreshing swim in the cool spring waters. On the way back to Gallipoli we stop in Santa Caterina to taste one of the best ice cream of the region (they’re specialized in “salty pistacchios”, “almond and figs” and “chocolate cream”). We arrive in Gallipoli by the sunset.
