Museo Atlantico for non-certified divers
Museo Atlántico is the only underwater sculpture museum in Europe. For those people who do not have a dive license, we offer a special program to visit the Museo Atlántico. The program consists of three sections and takes 5 hours in total. It begins with a try dive from the shore. For this first dive we explain the most important dive theory in a 20 minute safety briefing. You will then dive from the shore with one of our instructors to a maximum depth of 6 meters. After completing this dive, you will learn a few basic dive skills in the pool together with your instructor. After a short break we board the boat to the Museo Atlántico. The sculptures are at a depth of 14 meters. As this is your second dive you are not allowed to dive deeper than 12 meters. We will organize a dive with a private guide to keep you at 12 meters. At this depth, you will have a perfect view of the statues.

Once we are all checked in, we take you to our departure point where our drivers will give you a brief chat, answer any questions you may have and get you comfortable in your Buggy. As we make our way out of the Marina the route takes us onto some great off road tracks, starting off through the back of Puerto del Carmen and the town of Tias, winding all the way up to picturesque villages and leading us out into the breathtaking landscape of the La Geria winegrowing region. With the incredible Timanfaya Volcanic Park as a spectacular back drop we motor our way to the Wine Museum & Bodega where we take our main stop for a leg stretch and bite to eat or a coffee at the tapas café if you fancy. Discover the volcanic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park on this half-day excursion, which takes us through the southern part of Lanzarote. We visit the Timanfaya National Park, we will feel the heat of the earth when performing geothermal demonstrations on the Islet of Hilario. We do the Route of the Volcanoes in our own minibus. You can ride a camel (optional). And on the Timanfaya coast, two photo stops: one on the cliffs of Los Hervideros, and another on the El Golfo volcano with its green lagoon. Depart from Puerto Calero and pass through Puerto Calero, Playa Quemada on your way to el barranco del Quiquere, enjoying the unique beauty of the Lanzarote coast along the way. Enjoy sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, or head out on a kayak or stand up paddle board.
