Catamaran Crystal Sea Cruise from Protaras
Join us on our sailing catamaran, Mediterraneo III for a unique experience. We head towards Famagusta to view the ghost town of Varosha and a dip in Derynia Bay. We then head along the coastline, passing Fig Tree Bay before arriving in the Cape Greco area and the beautiful blue Lagoon. We will ensure that there is time for another swim stop along the way to explore the crystal clear waters. Varosha experience is designed to allow you the maximum time to explore this deserted holiday resort called Varosha. This was once the holiday resort for the rich and famous during the 1970s including Raquel Welch, Brigitte Bardot, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton to mention a few. Since 1974 this holiday resort had become empty due to the comflict during that year. Not only the hotels were affected but shops, bars and residential homes remain empty. The guide will provide you with an exclusive map which helps with navigation and additional information about relevant buildings.
