A Stranger in Norwich City Exploration Game
This game takes players to some of the most impressive landmarks in Norwich. You'll visit important Medieval and Tudor sites. You'll also discover a few hidden gems and hear some fascinating stories. You play the part of a 16th-century 'Stranger', who has just arrived in the city. During this walk you can imagine what it must have been like for them. As you solve challenges, the story unfolds and exact directions on your phone will guide you to the next location. Ready for an adventure? We recommend doing this walk in daylight, between 7:30 and 6:30 when the cathedral is open. After your booking, you will receive an email with instructions on how to download and play the game on your phone. Scroby Sands Seal Watching
Take an exciting sightseeing and nature trip with us departing from South Pier, Lowestoft heading north at speed to Scroby Sands. Look for the beaches as we go and see Lowestoft, Gorleston and Great Yarmouth from a different perspective! We slow right down when we get anywhere near the seals to avoid disturbing them and usually switch off the engine and drop the anchor to let you have a good look and get some amazing pictures and memories. There are normally many seals there, some on the sand (tide dependent!) and some bobbing around in the water. You should get some amazing pictures, they’re very inquisitive. Please note that the scheduled times are departure times and you will need to arrive 30 minutes before!
University Walking Tour
What turned a boggy medieval town into a world-class university city? Join one of our engaging local guides on the University Walk and encounter the key ideas, people and movements which have formed and reformed Cambridge University and its colleges over 8 eventful centuries. Starting at the iconic 12th-century Round Church, you'll proceed around the city's historic centre, uncovering the manifold ways in which Christian faith and practice have given shape to Cambridge University throughout its history. The University Walk departs at 2:15pm from the inside of the Round Church and takes between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Entrance to the exhibitions at the Round Church Visitor Centre is included in the walk price. Note: unfortunately, our walks are not able to enter any colleges from the beginning of May until the end of June due to college closures during the examination period.
