Tropical Hike in the Gandoca-Manzanillo wild life Refuge
We will pick-up the clients at 7:30 am, from farthest places, with previous coordination, then once there at the Refuge, the visitors will be taken around the refuge by our guide. There, they will enjoy the wildlife within its unique forest and beaches, possibly see the different ecosystems, including three species of monkey, many types of birds, reptiles, and sloths. This forest is a pristine example of a South Caribbean jungle with no pollution. Veragua Rainforest Experience and Tram Ride in Puerto Limon
Located less than one hour from the town of Puerto Limón and with enchanting views of the endless mountains of the Talamanca Range, the Veragua Rainforest allows visitors to explore the natural wonders of Costa Rica’s breathtaking tropical rainforest. Enjoy a day of discovery and adventure in the Veragua Rainforest mountain reserve, which National Geographic Traveler called “The Cream of the Cream of the Rainforest”. Surrounded by 100% rainforest, the private reserve borders the spectacular La Amistad International Park the largest nature reserve in Central America. You will stroll along easily accessible trails to the tram. You will then enter an open-air gondola system that will take you through the primary rain forest past 300-year-old trees and down to the riverbank. You will then walk the Trail of the Giants, so named for the huge trees lining the riverbank or op to hike on the Puma Waterfall trail. Ride the tram to the top station and visit the biological research station.
Turtle Tour Tortuguero National Park
Tortuguero is one of the most important places of the world where sea turtles can reproduce, so we try to find and watch the different nesting processes always with respect and order to ensure the safety of the animal and the visitors. the tour have a duration of around 2 hours max, it's mean that if we are lucky and we are able to see all the different stages of the process we leave immediately to not disturb other turtles on the beach, which is very important to keep the balance between the tourism and conservation. in the tour you will be with a guide all the time to give you an explanation about the turtle and what are you seeing and also to give you the instructions to not disturb the animal on the process of watching the stages. the place where we go it is located part in the national park and part in the public area.
Cahuita National Park Hiking
Our guide will meet you at the entrance of the park, you will have to do the check in at the counter by giving a donation to the park. On this tour you will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of the national park, including the flora and fauna. Our experience guide will spot all the great things for you. Once you are done with the walk you can decide to walk back with the guide or stay at the beach inside the park. This is not a private tour. This tour is for a minimum of two people. If you are a solo traveler please ask for availability.
