2-hour Life Drawing Session in Cardiff
We offer a unique life drawing experience! Situated in a fine workshop attached to a city centre cafe of some renown the life drawing session is fun, relaxed and memorable! You will be guided to your seats, usually a circle around a model (or two!), offered a complimentary coffee and handed your sketchpad and drawing materials. The life model (or models!) will of course be nude throughout the evening and will adopt a range of poses to suit the evenings theme (the sessions are often themed or delivered as a performance). You will be given instruction if so desired but in general our sessions of life drawing are sketch practice for artists or for those dipping their toes or wishing to try out something new. Cardiff Bay to the City Centre, we will take in many historic sites - many familiar as film locations from popular TV series such as Doctor Who, Torchwood and Sherlock Holmes. In the City the tour will take in the Castle, National Museum complete with its world famous impressionist paintings, Bute Park, the Principality Stadium and the Victorian market and shopping arcades. If timings allow, we will travel by water taxi to Cardiff Bay, or if not by conventional taxi. This is payable locally approx £7 per person for water taxi; £5 per person for conventional taxi. In the Bay the tour will take in the Millennium centre, The Welsh Parliament known at the Senedd, the Norwegian Church, Mount Stuart Square and the Coal Exchange and the Cardiff Bay Barrage which has effectively created a 500 hectare lake, The biggest regeneration project of its type in the 1990s. It's a guided tour from Central Cardiff taking in both the industrial heritage of the valleys and the wonderful natural environment that is the Brecon Beacons. We get to visit a gorgeous castle too. We will visit spots with the most astounding views and many interesting features on our journey. You will travel in a modern and comfortable vehicle in the company of your driver guide. You will be able to spend time with the guide at each location, as they walk and talk about Wales, its history, and culture or you are free to self-explore to find unique locations for photos. We will return to Cardiff no later than 6 pm and likely a little earlier. PLEASE NOTE: At peak times it may not be possible to book not some of the attractions especially with last minute bookings. We will discuss this with you when you book if this is the case and offer alternative attractions.
