Kayaking thru Caves on the Caves Branch River V.i.V.
for thousands of years our ancestors used the caves system for dwelling, performing sacred ceremonies and to store food. join us in this journey to the underworld. we provide the headlights, helmets, life jackets, kayaks and a experienced guide. All geared up, the guides led you thru a forest path sharing local uses of the plants seen along the forest trail. at the caves entrance, the guide shares information as to the seven caves layout, kayaking equipment familiarization and kayak route. here you will notice awesome large cave entrances with a crystal clear river flowing thru it. as you paddle you will go thru a series of caves, see many formations. the guide will show you places to stop and rest and enjoy a refreshing swim. the paddling continues thru the caves systems until you arrive at the exit where the sunlight glitters on the water, and the birds can be heard singing on the river bank. here we store our gear, use the facilities and prepare for the return drive home.

Discover the highlights in the area on this exclusive "best of tour" that includes the most requested by our guests! We depart later to let you sleep in, avoid the crowds, and see the sunset at the end of the tour. We start with snorkeling at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. Hol Chan has the largest variety of species to be seen in the area and is often compared to an aquarium, while at Shark Ray Alley you get to experience a close encounter with nurse-sharks and stingrays. Watch from the boat or swim with them! We then serve our famous Belizean buffet lunch on-board. Traditional dishes like stewed chicken and rice and beans with our Captain’s secret recipe BBQ fish! After lunch, we stop at the neighbor island Caye Caulker for approx. 1 hour of free time to explore the island, followed by a relaxed sunset cruise back to San Pedro, with ceviche being served. Open bar with local rum, vodka, gin, soft drinks and juices is included. Try the specials, rum punch and "panty rippers"!
Snorkel the Perfect Tropical Isle Silk Caye with Turtles, Rays and Sharks
Silk Cayes is a marine reserve consisting of 3 small islands formerly known as the Queen Cayes. This Marine Reserve hosts over 25 species of reef fish, with a variety of coral and other marine life! The Silk Caye is one of healthiest areas in the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System due to its location and protected status. It is a great destination to snorkel, scuba dive or simply spend a day on the island! Snorkelers explore the reefs surrounding the islands. Scuba Divers explore the the barrier reef wall and other dive sites the Silk Cayes have to offer. As a bonus just before returning to Placencia, everyone has an opportunity to snorkel with rays, sharks and (usually) huge turtles in an area where the local fishermen clean their catch - when the critters hear the boat engines, they think it is meal time and come to the dive boat.

Hol Chan Marine Reserve Snorkel and Caye Caulker Tour 40' Sirena Azul Sailboat
Begin your day departing from Blue Tang Inn on Ambergris Caye and sail to Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley. Guests aboard the Sirena Azul Sailboat will be provided distance from other guests for your safety. You will enjoy a guided snorkel through the Marine Reserve and neighboring Shark Ray Alley. Once back on board you can rinse off with fresh water and settle in for the sail to Caye Caulker. When you reach Caye Caulker you will have time to have lunch on your own & explore our quaint sister island. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely sail back to San Pedro. Includes: Beer, soda, rum punch, bottled water, shrimp cocktail & fresh fruit. *We require a minimum of 6 snorkelers to operate our 40' sailboat, captain and guide.
