A strip of promenade between Alfred Street and Sydney Opera House. Limited views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour. No views of the Sydney Opera House. Manly Cove

Escape the inner-city madness and enjoy a family friendly evening. Families will take over East and West Esplanades and watch the sun set on the last day of the year. Festivities close with 9pm fireworks. Smoke-free event. Opening times: 5pm – 9pm

Close proximity to the fireworks and a good view of western side of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Steep grassy terrain is available to sit on. Large trees in the park can block views.
