Voguish restaurants and bars curated for this Valentine in Ho Chi Minh City

So we are at this time of the year, Valentine night, an occasion to heat up your love life. These restaurants and bars are chosen for their intimate ambience, great view, and lovely food. I would pick these places over any other for their privacy and the unique characters

Bờm gastronomy

BỜM Gastronomy
BỜM Gastronomy, Ngô Đức Kế, Bến Nghé, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

A fusion restaurant by a young cook trained in Paris, Bom Gastronomy is on top of my list. The menu contains an artistic interpretation from both French and traditional Vietnamese Cuisine. The chef meticulously fuses his own childhood memory into fine dining. I would recommend this place as a hidden gem to discover modern fusion cuisine. Discover their Valentine menu on the Facebook page now, better reserve a table today since this restaurant is quite popular.

The Deck Saigon

Second on this list is The Deck Saigon, a restaurant looking over the Saigon river with an aura of Indochina. Located in Thao Dien, the restaurant is a wonderful experience away from the crowded downtown in Ho Chi Minh City. The food is served with the ingredients flown in directly from Phu Quoc island, vegetables come from Dalat and meat from Australia and the U.S.

MAD house

MAD House
MAD House, Nguyễn Ư Dĩ, Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Located in Thao Dien, I like this place with its variety of Vietnamese food cooked with a western twist. For anyone who would love a bite of burger or steak without having to be in a too fancy setting, you'll find this place perfect.

L'usine Le Thanh Ton

L'Usine
L'Usine, Đường Lê Thánh Tôn, Bến Nghé, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

I love this place with its casual atmosphere but not too sloppy. The food is decent for couples, although I don't recall they serve any alcoholic beverages. I usually enjoy lasagna then walk a bit after the meal since it locates in the city centre. Give it a try if you like to have a date then shop at the mall.
