As you indulge in local treats , your guide will share the incredible details of what makes this area a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before finishing the tour, walk around North America's oldest university and admire its Central Campus, another World Heritage site.

Please note that our tour spends the longest time in Tolantongo, allowing you to truly enjoy your time in Tolantongo without feeling rushed by your tour company throughout the day. Our guides are extremely fluent in their English language skills. Most have lived a major part of their life in the United States and or Canada. We provide comfort in our transportation, by not allowing our vehicles to be cramped and tight with too many guests. Our guides also have a good relationship with the community of employees that work in Tolantongo. Our mutual respect for one another allows for a better experience for our guests than you could imagine. Our guides are given a fair wage for their excellent service.

Imagine flying over the Teotihuacán valley at more than 450 meters high and being able to see the pyramids of Teotihuacán, one of the most important cultures in all of Mesoamerica. I'll tell you a little more... First we will welcome you with a coffee and cookies. We will enter the take-off area where you will be able to see the entire inflation process of a hot air balloon. Your flight will begin over the beautiful valley of Teotihuacán and upon landing we will make a traditional toast. Afterwards we will have breakfast at La Cueva Restaurant, where you can admire the magic of nature, that is, we will be underground having breakfast in a natural cave. We will move to a culture space where you can learn about the most important resources of the place such as obsidian, you will learn pigmentation techniques and we will end with a tasting of local drinks.

(6:30 AM) Balloon inflation process. (6:45 AM) Start your hot air balloon flight with a duration of 45 to 60 minutes depending on weather conditions. (7:45 AM) Upon landing, a toast is made and a flight certificate is handed out. (8:15 AM) Delicious breakfast in a totally natural CAVE. (9:30 AM) Our cultural part, we will visit a cooperative of artisans where we will have an explanation of the Teotihuacan culture, the maguey, obsidian and a tasting of exquisite handmade drinks. (10:30 AM) Entrance to the Archaeological Zone you will have up to 2 hours free. (13:00 PM) Return to CDMX. These schedules may vary depending on availability.

As this is a completely private tour, we can adjust to the needs that are often required. Keep in mind that due to the museum occupancy, the Frida Kahlo museum is the last point to touch.
