You will then be driven to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp for an overview of the memorial site. Please be aware, Sachsenhausen is roughly a one hour drive from Berlin. The tour is organized to minimize time spent on the bus. This is why we visit Sachsenhausen in the afternoon, as it lies on the way back to port. More time, however, is spent on the bus than on our regular Berlin shore excursion. All of our shore excursions are adjusted to each ship’s docking times and each starts promptly after your vessel’s arrival, returning with plenty of time to spare before its departure. Warnemünde Shore Excursion: Private Highlights Tour of Berlin with Minivan
This is the perfect tour to visit Berlin if you arrive on a cruise ship in Warnemunde. Our driver will meet you directly at the ship and will bring you to Berlin where you will meet your personal guide for an about 6-hour tour before you head back to the ship. On this tour you will see all the main sights of the city, such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Building, Checkpoint Charlie and the longest remaining strip of the Wall – called East-Side-Gallery. We will also visit with you the Holocaust Memorial, the Museum Island, and we get along the Victory Column, the Memorial Church and the Television Tower. During the tour there will be several stops to take pictures and short walks. For lunch, you may prefer a quick snack or, upon request, we will bring you to a restaurant with local cuisine to enjoy typical German food.

After a short introduction to the topic of safety and basic paddling knowledge, our two-hour tour starts at Dänholm, from where you already have a fantastic view of the unique city silhouette. The route leads us through the transverse channel between the harbor island and the mainland, past the imposing storage buildings. At the end of the cross canal, we turn and we now explore the harbor island from the other side, from where we have a good view of the pilot's house, the Ozeaneum and the legendary Gorch Fock. At our previously agreed meeting points you can find out everything worth knowing and interesting about the Hanseatic city of Stralsund and its history.

For more than 25 years we have been showing important, hidden, and forgotten Third Reich and World War Two sights to guests from all over the world. This tour offers you a unique opportunity to see the heart of the German capital during its most tragic and regrettable moments. With the use of your private air-conditioned vehicle we will be able to take you to all the relevant WWII sights. We will show you the Reichstag, where Hitler came to power in 1933, and the site of the bunker, where he took his own life in 1945, just as WWII was coming to an end. Throughout the day you will see memorials for several different victim groups of the Nazi regime, including homosexual, mentally and physically disabled, Jewish, and Sinti and Roma victims, amongst others. At the end of the tour your driver will bring you back to the port of Warnemünde.
