Champagne Small-Group Tour with Tastings and Lunch from Epernay
Meet your friendly guide in Epernay at 12.00 am in front of the Tourist Office of Epernay. Drive through the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay. Enjoy a moment in the vineyard and acquire knowledge about the particularities of our “terroir”. Drive through the village of Hautvillers and enter the church where Dom Pérignon is buried. Be welcomed at a typical Champagne House, Le Clos Corbier. Take part in a fun workshop on Champagne and become an expert taster in this famous sparkling wine ! Enjoy a traditional lunch made of regional specialties paired with a variety of champagnes wines . Meet your guide in front of the tourist office in Epernay at 9:35am. Drive by the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay and go to Le Clos Corbier: your e-bikes will be ready for you to ride. Cycle through premier and grand cru villages, enjoy breathtaking views on the UNESCO world’s heritage vines of Champagne. Discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne and finish with a visit of the church where Dom Pérignon is buried. Cycle alongside the Marne canal to make your way back to Le Clos Corbier, visit the cellars, taste different champagnes from the family domaine and learn about the champagne making process. Enjoy a traditional lunch, made of regional specialties paired with champagnes : pâté croute, quiche, lentils, cheeses... After a day full of memories, your guide will drop you off at 3:15pm in Epernay. Electric bikes are heavier than regular bikes, it is required to be used to riding bikes. In case of bad weather the tour will be operated by minibus instead.

Children born in this place receive a drop of Champagne from their first breaths! Such a baptism opens a way of life, so I chose to reach the chalk hillsides to work there and develop a certain sensitivity to nature and the vine. A whole story of skies, landscapes and people that I cannot keep to myself. Welcome to the land of Champagne!!
