The fishing on the bay is great fishing, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Whiting, and many others, including Red Fish. Bay fishing trips primarily target tasty sand trout and whiting but customers will also have opportunities to catch red drum and black drum. Customers can also bring their own gear if they desire, but Captain Murphy’s will not be responsible for it. All persons fishing, ages 17 and older are required to have a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License. North Bay Snorkel
Small group experience! No more than 6 passengers. We travel to the Northern part of South Padre Island. It takes our Jet boat approx 8 - 10 min to get to the snorkel location.The snorkel location is in clear shallow waters about 3-4 ft deep. The bottom is soft white sand and seashells along with some seagrass plugs scattered. If you bring food, lots of fish will swim up to you and eat out of your hand. You are allowed to bring food, alcohol or non alcoholic drinks. Just NO GLASS. Yummy drinks can also be ordered To Go from our departure location at Lobo Del Mar Cafe.
