Full-Day Private Adventure: Knossos, Zeus Cave & Lassithi Plateau

Our journey is an immersive adventure that lets you see Crete from an insider's perspective, something that you won't easily find elsewhere. We start by visiting the Aposelemis Dam, then we head to Panagia Kera Monastery to learn about its history and art. The Windmills of Lassithi Plateau show you a different side of the island, and the Cave of Zeus takes you to a place of myth and legend. The 2,400-year-old Platanus Tree in Krassi connects you to nature's ancient beauty, and the Omiaia Olive Press offers a taste of Crete's culinary heritage. We finish the journey with a visit to the Palace of Knossos, the largest Minoan site. We've chosen each stop carefully, offering you a chance to dive into history, culture, nature, and local food. Sailing Cruise to Dia Island with Meal and Water Activities
Sail with us to the exotic Dia Island on our large and comfortable sailing yachts. Our journey begins at the Heraklion Old venetian port. After 1 hour of sailing, we arrive to Dia where we anchor in the first bay of the island. There you can enjoy the crystal waters and water activities such as snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding and more. (Please request the equipment from the Crew) About 1 hour later our delicious menu is served and includes Greek salad and several appetizers, while the main course is shrimp pasta (we also offer vegetarian and gluten free versions of the menu upon request). You can also accompany your meal with the finest wine, beer, ice tea or soft drinks. Around 30 minutes later we sail to a different bay where you can enjoy the waters and our refreshing fruit salad. There you will have about 30-60 minutes before we sail back to Heraklion. *In case there is not enough time for a visit to the second bay there will be extra time in the first one.

This is my favorite tour in Crete because you get to see the real Crete, the old wind mills the old traditional villages, Zeus Cave where the king of all the Greek gods was born. His mother gave birth there to hide from his father Kronos. We will see the old windmills and the amazing views from an altitude of around 1000 m above sea level . Then it's off to Lasithi plateau, the biggest one in Crete . Driving through the old villages on the Lasithi plateau you feel that you are traveling back in time, like time stopped long ago.We will visit an olive oil factory where we learn about how olive oil is made now and how they used to do it in the olden days of course we will taste different kind of local olive oil and honey. We will enjoy lunch at a family restaurant up on the mountain where you get to taste the Real Cretan food . We will pick you up from Heraklion - Malia - Sisi - Hersonisos - Gouves - Analipsi . We don’t pick up from Chania- Rethimnon- Elounda- Ag Nikolaous.

Elounda, a small village on the shore of Mirabello bay with spectacular views, is where the boat begins the cruise heading to Spinalonga island, a small uninhabited island used during the history as a fortress and later on as a leper colony. On the way back to Elounda Port the boat will anchor so you can dive in the refreshing waters.
