Discover some of the most beautiful and scenic areas of Upolu Island on this full-day tour. Spend the day swimming in a mix of fresh and saltwater locations including the Piula Cave Pool, Sauniatu Waterfall, Lalomanu Beach, To Sua Ocean Trench and Togitogiga Waterfall. Admire the beautiful island scenery throughout the day and stop at the island’s tallest waterfall, Papapapatai, before heading back to Apia.
Northern Savaii Day Trip from Upolu
Savai’i is 80 kilometres (50 miles) long and 40km (25 miles) wide, with the dormant volcano Mt Silisili its highest peak at 1,858 metres (6,095 feet). The island’s main town and arrival point for ferries from Upolu is Salelologa in the southeast, accessible by the main road that encircles the island. Savai’i’s attractions include high waterfalls, caves and blowholes, and particularly the dramatic Saleaula lava fields and huge lava tubes that formed when Mt Matavanu erupted in the early 20th Century.

Crater Lake Hike and Swim
Embark on an adventurous 3km hike through a dense rainforest, on a 4.5 hour trip to Lake Lanoto'o. The half-day excursion is perfect for travelers who like to get off the beaten track to see and do something a little different. With maximum six people per group, you enjoy a more immersive and dynamic tour experience. After a moderate sometimes steep ascent through the dense rainforest, cool off in the volcanic crater lake. Please note that this hike can be challenging, with steep and slippery sections, so it is essential to wear footwear with good tread and be prepared for a moderate level of physical exertion.
