Fundy Coast to Fundy Shore Tour
Our tour begins with a visit to the seaside community of St. Martins. You'll step back in time and sense the serenity of this area with its wharf, fishing boats, and piled lobster traps. With the ocean as a backdrop, you'll capture memorable photos of many interesting features such as lighthouses and the twin covered bridges. Don't forget to visit the wave-carved sea caves in the sandstone cliff if the tide is low enough to allow access while you're there. Learn about this small community's wooden ship building industry and see some of the highest tides in the world ebb and flow during your visit. You'll also visit the famous Reversing Falls, where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River. Before returning to the cruise ship, we'll stop and explore the unique Old City Market in the heart of Saint John and learn why the local folks have loved to buy fresh produce here since 1876. Please note: all tours depart at local time and depend on cruise ship arrival.
Bay of Fundy Tour by Bus
This tour is 6+ hours long tour with 3 different sized passenger buses. This is available only for tourists visiting via Cruise ships or privately booked events with a minimum of 10 people. The smallest bus holds 20 passengers, the medium bus holds 24 passengers, and the largest bus holds 33 passengers. There is some easy walking involved on this tour, so please wear comfortable shoes. Please note that there will be some minor waiting required since passengers need to leave the cruise ship and then get into the bus. We cannot leave until all the passengers in the group have been seated in the bus. ***Please note: Our season begins March 1st and ends around November 15th. Pete's Historic Walking Tour
Welcome to Canada’s first City, the only city on the Bay of Fundy, home of the world’s highest tides. Meet at Area 506 Waterfront Container Village entrance, and proceed along historic Water Street to Market Square to access the City’s indoor pedway system. This avoids an uphill walk on King St, the steepest main street in Canada. The tour is flat, with a downhill section near the end. Copies of rare photos are used during the tour. Historical facts are featured, from 1783 until the present day. Your knowledgeable guide will focus on numerous points of interest and hidden gems including the history of Saint John over the last 240 years. The final part of the tour is on Prince William St, once known as the Wall St of Canada.

Kayaking with First Nations Storytellers
Meet at beautiful Dominion Park where your guides will lead the group through gearing up, introductions, and a safety overview. We'll launch into the beautiful South Bay region of the Saint John River (traditionally referred to as the Wolastoq). The on water portions of the tour follow the highlights of our River Relics experience, giving you an overview of the "recent" history of Southeast New Brunswick. Photo opportunities abound, with stops to view pre-Cambrian fossils, a bald eagles nest, a 17th century lime quarry, and a 19th century lighthouse, not to mention the stunning scenery of the river at sunset. We'll stop a a beach mid tour, where we'll gather around a bon-fire for some food, conversation, and storytelling. Sip locally foraged tea while baking your own traditional Bannock. The Beaverbrook Art Gallery and a significant art collection were given to the people of New Brunswick by Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Max Aitken, in 1959. Our magnificent collection of masterworks, and the purpose-built art gallery housing them, are just one of many great gifts Lord Beaverbrook left to his home province. In 1994, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery was officially designated the provincial art gallery of New Brunswick. The Gallery has enriched life through art ever since.
From Sap to Syrup: A Tasty Guided Maple Production Tour
Dumfries Maples is a 25 year old maple syrup farm located 50km west of Fredericton in Central New Brunswick along the Wolastoq (St. John River), operating on a family property dating back to the late 1880’s. A visit includes a guided tour of our farm, describing how we produce maple syrup, explaining the process from tree to bottle. The tour also tells the unique history of maple syrup from its beginning to present day, as well as the local history of the area. The tour will be followed by warm homemade biscuits served with our maple butter and a beverage inside our owner-built cedar log cabin. This will be followed by the treat of maple taffy on snow.
