Let's explore Puerto Rico's most amazing northeastern region and its 5 unique municipalities on our full-day private cultural tour with certified guide Professor Nat! The variety of landscapes and ecosystems is mind-boggling. The Northeast covers coastal forests, wetlands, a bioluminescent lagoon, seagrass beds, coral reefs, and pristine beaches. We'll start with exotic beach food emporia in Piñones, tasting the famous authentic 'fritura'. Next, mysterious Loiza will transport us across the ocean to a world of African culture. Enjoy a local barbecue lunch to go (extra charge, picnic style). Then, we'll visit El Yunque in Rio Grande, the only rainforest in the national park system, where we'll hike through the lush tropical forest to the sacred river bath for the Taino Indians. Our next stop is the Natural WaterSlide (slide at your own responsibility). Finally, we'll head to Luquillo, Puerto Rico's finest beach. Here, you can indulge in the finest white sand and turquoise waters.
