The majestic Gauja River (the longest river in Latvia) and its wild tributaries make this trip an adventure for nature lovers to remember. Paddle downstream for around 5 hours, while enjoying the most beautiful landscapes of the Gauja River Valley, including the stunning steep riverbanks, the famous 350 million-year-old sandstone cliffs, and the dense pristine forests of Gauja National Park. On hot summer days take occasional stop-overs to have a refreshing dip in the Gauja River. Get engaged by a knowledgeable eco-tour guide with our special Improv-travel approach and discover many interesting facts about the nature and culture of Latvia. Depending on the group's speed, fitness level, and preferences we can do different daily distances (from 10 to 20 km).
