We drive to ancient city of Myra. Myra is one of the leading cities of Lycian federation.Lycian rock tombs and grand roman theatre are top highlights of the city.St Nicholas was born in Patara in 3rd century AD.Then he becomes a bishop of the church in Myra.His fame spread out all over the world by the sailors and has evolved to present form.The church has become a pilgrimage destination among Orthodox christians.We visit church and Myra with our guide’s explanation then drive to Cayagzı where we board our gulet.Cruising along sunken city is one of the highlights of today.Kekova island was a small fishing town once.Earthquakes caused water level increase so inhabitants had to move to Simena castle village.Today,part of the houses,harbour walls,bath ruins can be seen in the water.We take a break at shipyard bay for a swim break then cruise to Simena village.We have an optional walk up to the castle and runis.We enjoy one of the most dramatic view of mediterranean
