Surrounded by the walls, at the top of the hill, more than 200m above the sea offers a stunning view of vineyards, and forests full of world-famous truffles. During the 14th century, Venetians fortified the hilltop town with a still-existing set of city walls, making it a breathtaking example of Venetian architecture. You will visit a town and do a walking tour of the city, getting to know the legends, visiting the main square, and tasting the hidden treasure of surrounding forests – you will taste the world-famous truffles. After that, you will have a chance to climb the city walls, to get that stunning view of the surroundings. Our half-day exploring will end up in the early afternoon by returning to your accommodation.
