Montego Bay Foodie Private Tour with City Highlights

Get a taste of REAL Jamaican food prepared by everyday Jamaicans, eat like a local. Our journey starts with a morning pickup. Drive in air conditioned comfort into the heart of the city of Montego Bay. Locals are known to "mek fashion" with whatever food is in season, so your first meal could be anywhere between some brownstew chicken, ackee (when in season) & saltfish, patties or a cup of peanut porridge. There will be brief interludes between the food stops where we discuss the history of the food, it's current relevance in our society and the ingredients/ process we use to cook. We continue driving and eating with stops along the way for sampling of traditional foods, such as jerk chicken, festivals, rice & peas and whatever else is being fared at the local hotspots. Hotel pickups from Falmouth or Lucea is also available, select the appropriate pickup area when booking.
