Kick off with a guided walk in the UNESCO-listed Medina. With over 60,000 stalls, having an in-the-know local lead the way allows you to enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about losing your bearings. We'll start at the fondouks, make our way to a Berber pharmacy for a demonstration of herbs and spices, and then on to the craft and commercial districts.
We'll wander on to the bakeries, where the ovens churn out freshly baked bread, and bring the tour to an end at the atmospheric Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Relax with a drink on a terrace overlooking the square, watching fruit and spice sellers going about their business, before time to explore at your own pace.
