We will visit the Rafael Larco Herrera Museum or as it is currently known, the Larco Museum, one of the most important in the country and considered among the best in the world by some specialists. Founded in 1926, the museum exhibits a valuable collection of almost 45,000 pre-Hispanic pieces arranged in chronological order from the first inhabitants of ancient Peru to the Incas. Its rooms are characterized by presenting a complete collection of ceramics, textiles, gold and silver in a perfectly conserved, in addition to being one of the first in the world to have visitable storerooms and to provide virtual access to its entire collection Among the main exhibits, we will observe its renowned exhibition of ceramic pieces from the Moche culture, such as the ceramics alluding to fertility, popularly known as the |Erotic Room|.
