Visit with a licensed guide Vergina (or Aige in ancient Greek), which is located only 82 km away from Thessaloniki, in central Macedonia. Vergina is Unesco World Heritage Site, where among the other antiquites you will have the chance to see the nicely preserved tomb of King Philip II (father of Alexander the Great) and the tomb of Alexander IV (son of Alexander the Great).
