The Quetrupillán Volcano is a wonderful volcano in southern Chile! It has been asleep for many years, it has a large crater covered by an immense glacier. It is ideal for mountaineering, for beginners or for experienced people. The view from the summit (at 2,370 masl) is impressive and 360°, and allows you to observe several lakes and volcanoes, as well as the Andes mountain range on the Argentine side.
When the volcano is covered in snow, the descent is done with sleds and it is possible to slide down the entire volcano sitting down. It is a unique and unforgettable experience!
