Genteel & Bard’s NEW Savannah Women’s History Tour is a historical walking tour that dives deep into the lives of Savannah’s most notable women. You’ll experience our highly-curated, classic storytelling performance at its finest while hearing tales of bravery, ingenuity, charm, and diverse experience.
From a Muskogee Creek business woman, to a daring Black nun who risked it all, to the eccentric founder of the Girl Scouts, and many, many more - You’ll also hear accounts of modern Savannah women making an impact, and even swing by some of their businesses along our route!
At Genteel & Bard we are proud to boast the most talented, well-read, and passionate historian hosts. Ms. Ashley Steele, the curator of Genteel & Bard Women’s History Tour, is also your host! Ashley has a long resume, as in years, of storytelling performance as well as months of tour training specific to our Genteel & Bard brand.
