For both beginners and advanced photographers, we will start with a meeting upstairs at the Mercato Centrale. We will review some of your previous images, discuss your photographic style, and decide what you would like to achieve and what you would like to discover in Florence. We can hit the highlights such as the Duomo or Piazza Michelangelo or find the back streets to get images no one else has.
Example topics we will cover:
- Exposure (Aperture, Shutter speed, ISO, manual vs auto focus)
- Composition and natural lighting
- Depth of field
- Focal length
- Color vs Black and White
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Please wear comfortable shoes
- Operates rain or shine - please dress accordingly
- Professional photographer as your instructor
- Beverage of your choice during the meeting
- Photography equipment - You will need to provide your own camera (phone or SLR)
- Historical guide - This is not an in-depth tour for history and art but a photography class
