Etna Special Dawn Excursion

The Etna Trail Hiking excursion includes: About 5 to 7 hours of hiking on a rugged course, with steep slopes, in a lunar landscape accompanied by the French-speaking guide Etna3340. The guide chooses the day of the excursion, the route and the difficulty according to the weather/geodynamic conditions of Etna and the sporting level of the less trained participants. The drop is between 300 and 1100 meters, while the walking distance is 6 to 12 km (descent on volcanic sands). The difficulty of the route, the km covered, the walking speed, the altitude difference, the maximum altitude and the route will be decided by the guide during the excursion. You will be on an active volcano (which has random conditions of activity). The guide may decide to reduce the number of km to be covered or the maximum altitude attainable. He will adapt the itinerary to the sporting level of the participants and to the weather/geodynamic conditions of Etna.
