One of the most populated cities in Sri Lanka is Galle. Due to its historical significance, this beachfront paradise, which is located in the southwest of the island, is among the most famous in the whole nation. Prior to the advent of the Portuguese in the 16th century, when it was the island's principal port, the administrative centre of Southern Province, Galle, was first known as Gimhathiththa. There are two possibilities for how Galle got its name today

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Please observe proper dress code when visiting the temples as a form of respect. The basic rule is to wear clothing that covers the shoulders, and knees (Participants are advised dress appropriately for this activity (long pants, long-sleeved shirt or scarf to cover shoulders, and closed shoes)
This activity is not recommended for anyone with impaired physical mobility, certain medical conditions such as high blood pressure, epilepsy, etc.
