Be a celebrity for 4hrs! The Q cars were originally dingy toys and made real-life-size cars by Tomy toys. They are unique, made in Japan and only in Japan. Fun, easy to drive, and very kawaii *cute.
We take safety, comfort and excitement seriously and aim to make every tour a memorable experience for our guests. Please ask your guide to take photos for you or use the camera attachments on the cars for action cameras to capture the scenic ride.
Anybody over the age of 18 with a valid license to drive in Japan, IDP, will easily be able to drive the q cars. The Q cars are automatic with just a forward, neutral, and reverse switch. Before we commence the journey, the guide will explain to each driver how to operate the Q cars. Please remember to bring a valid driver’s license for driving on public roads in Japan.
