Countryside Bike Tour from Amsterdam: Windmills and Dutch Cheese

Join our guided countryside bike tour & explore the beautiful Dutch countryside of Waterland, north of Amsterdam. We offer two options for this tour. A Long or a Short tour for a full Dutch experience! Long tour: Our E-Bike tour, a longer route covering 37km (23 miles). This is for experienced, fit cyclists & requires a minimum height of 5' 1" feet (155 cm) to ride our pedal assisted E-Bikes as we cycle at 18/20 km per hour. We'll visit a traditional Dutch cheese farm to see Gouda cheese & wooden shoe making. Short tour: Covering 23km (14 miles) through charming villages like Zunderdorp & Ransdorp. You'll get the opportunity to taste some farmhouse cheeses & see some of the wildlife of the lowlands. No clog workshop visit on this tour Both tours include stories & photo opportunities along the way & are suitable for confident riders. Our guide will meet you near Central Station & take you on a scenic route along the North Holland Canal, passing a windmill & Dutch landscapes.

A reasonable level of fitness, health and biking skill is necessary. On the long tour you will ride E-Bikes at about 18km-20km per hour. Our guides will decide if your cycling skills are good enough (safety first).
Lunch is not included. Feel free to pack a lunch and bring something to snack along the route or out at the cheese farm (long tour only) because while the farmer has cheese to eat the wooden shoes are not fun to nibble on unless you are a chipmunk.
Minimum age is 12 years!
for E-bikes the minimum height is 155 cm or 5' 2"
Arrive 15 mins before the start of the tour at the meeting point!
Waiting time is a maximum of 5 minutes after the tour officially starts. So please be on time
