You’ll join one of our local Singapore hosts to experience how Chinese New Year is celebrated by the city’s locals. You’ll discover the local traditions and customs as you explore Chinatown and browse through the sprawling market where you can haggle for souvenirs guaranteed to bring you good luck. Feast on seasonal foods like Chinese New Year rice cakes and Longevity Noodles and take part in festivities and parades like the famous Chingay Parade with its lion dances. You will feel like a local as you take part in all these festivities. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
