The Carcer Tullianum is the oldest prison in Rome, for many centuries a maximum security prison for Rome's enemies awaiting execution.
Also known since the Middle Ages as Mamertine Prison, it is the place where, according to tradition, the Apostles Peter and Paul lived their last days before being martyred.
With just one ticket you will be able to visit Colosseum (the reservation is mandatory), Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and the Carcer Tullianum with Audio guide App.
