My oh my, what an adventure we had today with the amazing, amusing and informative Alexandre. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a fantastic day trip making our visit to Lisbon. Sintra is so much more than we dreamt off. AN absolute must do for everyone visiting the area! Alex you are a star and made our day, our holiday wouldn't have been the same without your wisdom and whit! This experience is catered to your own whims and needs. Made effortless picked up from the steps of our hotel with our personal vip tour! Definitely 5 star experience!

We had a private tour to ourselves which made it very flexible. Alexandre and Juan were very friendly and offered many insights to the places we visited. They allowed us time to tour at our own pace and unencumbered. A special treat was Refugio do Ciclista restaurant for lunch off the beaten track on top of a hill.

Alex's passion and knowledge in sharing the beautiful area of Sintra this past October 2022 was fantastic. He was a very safe and mindful driver too.

If you are planning to go to Sintra/Cascais to see certain monuments such as Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira, this tour company will NOT give you a head’s up if access is closed. They will also NOT let you cancel for NOT telling you the itinerary changed. They will also show up to pick you up even after you tell them you are cancelling the tour because access to certain monuments is denied. They won’t refund your money either. You have to dispute it with your credit card company to get your money back.

Gui was our guide and he showed up about 20-30 minutes late and I had to be the one to contact Gui and the company that's not very professional. Gui was very apologetic. Gui was quite knowledgeable , had excellent command of English, explained everything clearly, was personable, and was an excellent driver. Unfortunately, we visited on a rainy day and the lines are way to long to make it feel like you're getting a private tour with your guide. Gui wasn't without while we tour the actually Palace and just followed the crowed going through the tour then Gui picked us back at the base of the Palace. Gui was excellent when we were walking in Stigne and explaining the town. I can only give the tour 3.5; because, its didn't feel like a private tour and that's not a reflection on Gui; its more to with the crowds and the way the government let people see the Palce and that unfortunate. Portugal have way too many tourist and I'm a part of the problem. It was my second time to the palace and first post Covid19 and I still think it's amazing place and a must see; its just not enjoyable with the new rules of crowd control.

Tomas is really as good as his reviews. He speaks 4 languages and, for our purposes, is fluent in English. He is native to Sintra and clearly loves this area and his job. His enthusiasm and engagement makes the day fly by. He knows all the places to see and also sets you up in key areas to just wander.

We were the only 2 people on our tour. At first, it was a bit concerning but quickly we could see that we were fortunate. Our guide, Gui, was a wealth of Portuguese knowledge. How a 31 year old could possess as much knowledge of Portuguese history, I’ll never understand. Truly a fountain of historic information. Much More than expected. Highly recommended, assuming you get Gui.

Alex is amazing! This was legit the highlight of our trip. I couldn’t believe how amazing this was and the depth and knowledge Alex has second to none. I would do this experience every time I came to Lisbon because of how much fun my wife and I had.

We had the best time with our tour guide, Alexandre B. He arrived on time, was extremely knowledgable about the area and history. The van was clean, and comfortable and driving was very safe. We got so much accomplished in 8 hours, and got to see everything we wanted. This tour is an absolute MUST for anyone visiting Lisbon and wanting to see the most of the surrounding area. Just hope you get Alexandre as your guide, he was amazing!!
